Every October, European Cyber Security Month (ECSM) places a spotlight on the importance of staying safe in our increasingly online world. This EU-wide initiative aims to raise awareness about online safety, promote digital hygiene, and encourage individuals and
organisations to strengthen their cybersecurity practices.
One of the most persistent and dangerous threats highlighted during ECSM is malware. Malware is malicious software designed to infiltrate, damage, or steal information from devices and networks. From ransomware attacks to spyware and phishing scams, malware
continues to evolve, making awareness and prevention more critical than ever.
To coincide with ECSM, this week ENSEMBLE is proud to announce the launch of “The Adventures of Anti-Virus Man”, a web-based game designed to provide fun, engaging, and bite sized learning experiences, aimed at increasing the players knowledge of the different
types of malware and importantly what to do if malware has infiltrated the user’s system.

The game features six different challenges, each focusing on a particular type of attack. Players must navigate mazes and avoid the malware adversaries. By answering questions, the player will power-up and be able to stop the malware in its tracks.

If you want to learn more about malware and what to do if your device becomes infected, you can play the game here: ensemble.centric-research.co.uk
We would also love to hear your feedback and assist with our research by completing the short anonymous questionnaire afterwards: https://shusls.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4MVPMcVjxvojlCS
